WASSAILING & MUMMING @ SING FOLK

In July 2025 we were visited by the Coat of Hopes. After 1,800 miles of travelling around the UK, the Coat of Hopes arrived at Folkestone museum on Sunday 29th June. It was on display at Folkestone Museum throughout July and Aug. and took part in Sing Folk on 22nd July where we sang its own song and other material on the theme of long journeys, pilgrimage, the environment and nature.

MAY 2025

On Tuesday 20th May, Sing Folk convened for the very first time at The Music Workshop as part of Folkestone’s annual, month-long Music in May festival. Friends Anna, Tessa, Deborah, and Jeremy, joined by other enthusiastic folk singers, came together to share songs from all over the world.

They had so much fun that they’re still doing it today!
